Sport Teams

Our focus is on our community. We’re in the local gymnasiums, we’re on the soccer field, we’re in the ball park and we’re at the ice rink. Local teams and events allow us to reach out to provide support and donations where needed.

Rifflandia Music Festival

Most recently we expanded our partnership with Rifflandia, a local music festival held in Victoria that has been gaining momentum since 2009. It features local and international musicians of all genres. The event spans one weekend in September, has multiple venues including theatres, brew pubs, night clubs, and predominantly takes place at Royal Athletic Park, located one block from our store. We provide material and a t-shirt designed around the Castle/Rifflandia partnership with 100% of the proceeds going to Kids Sport Victoria.

Oak Bay Tea Party

The Oak Bay Tea Party is an annual event in Oak Bay that we have proudly supported and participated in for the last 2 years. At our Castle Kids Corral we supply the kids with the materials and assistance to build cedar bird houses as well as paint fairy and gnome homes. We also put on a scavenger hunt and help the kids create mementos with the items that they find. For the adults we host the Women's Nail Driving Competition and reward the winner.
